Unsaid Words...TheBiryani

You should start writing again” Vivan said casually eating biryani.
“I don’t need to now” She said as she filled his plate with more
“I’ve found someone who will write for me for rest of my life” She said with a smile curling upon her lips.
“hmm” he said fully focused on his plate as if that biryani is last good thing in the world.
“huh! What a reaction!” she snapped and stood from dining table.
He caught her hand and made her sit on his lap
“I promise whatever I write, you’ll be my inspiration and my dedication, I love you as I love my writing” He said gently tucking the strand of hair from her face behind her ear.
So whom do you love more…Me? Or writing?” She asked looking in his eyes mischievously.
Umm….I love writing for you more than anything
Ahaan! Playing safe?...Anyways now whatever you write I’ll search for myself in it” She said with as she moved her face towards him till their foreheads kissed.

“Yeah, just promise me one thing” He said closing his eyes.
“What”? She asked.
“Promise me you won’t empty entire jar of red chillies next time you make biryani for me” He said looking at her with pleading eyes.
“Oops!” She looked at his red nose and they both laughed.
And then he got his sweetest dessert as their lips felt each other’s touch.

It is almost 5 years…..she looked at the mirror..that girl was no more there.
Drugs shots are making her weak. Dark circles are now hiding the eyes, which were once full of life.
The only thing bright in the room was the book in bright yellow cover that was by her side.
She touched the book and her fingers stopped at author’s name….Vivan.
